Toys are the best

In room 15 we are leaning about toy's.We got to bring toy's to school from our house. I brought in my watch as my toy.

This term the junior classes are thinking about toys. For toys we went to MOTAT  to see old and new toys. It was fun going there. For toys we got to bring our own  toy to school. I brought a robot.  It does something, but I don't know. Some toys are, lego, robots, cars and block.

Toys

In room 15 we are learning about toys. Each one of us has a toy. Some are small and some are BIG. My toy is a turtle. My turtle is rainbow. Toys are cool.  By Amy

MOTAT

At the beginning of the day, we had a Toy Session. We learnt about all sorts of different toys. They are: teddies and dolls, toys that move, olden day toys, special toys and New Zealand Toys. Here are photos of some of us playing with these toys.

MOTAT Trip

At MOTAT, we went on the Tram. The driver passed around his conductor hat and the children loved putting it on! Everyone got to put the hat on. Below are photo's of some children wearing his hat.

Miles: I got chosen to ring the bell on the tram and he gave me the hat to wear. 

Science and Technology Week 2015

On Tuesday 5th May, the Juniors completed our Technology Challenge of making a swing for Sunnybee. We all had to work together to make our swing. Here are some photos of us working together.

Technology Challenge

Next week, it is Science and Technology week. We have a challenge of making a swing for Sunnybee. The children had a practice this week of designing and making their swing. They were only aloud to use newspaper, sellotape, string and 2 chairs. 
Here is what they have come up with. 

Viliami, Chloe and Amy: I hope Sunnybee likes this swing.

Miles,Vinay and Max: We liked making our swing. It was fun.

 Emma: My swing is wonderful.

Sam: This is got to be the best.

Simon:  I hope he will like it.

Ema, Ann and Levi: Our swing has a cover so Sunnybee wont get wet.

Hayley, Do Hyun and Darrius: We made a seat belt for Sunnybee so he doesn't fall out!
