Boats and Boats
On Thursday the 26th of November we made boats. Some of the boats floated and some boats sunk. My boat floated. It was fun.

Make a boat (challenge)
On Thursday 26th of November Sunnybrae Normal School had a challenge. It was called make a boat. Isaac had a humongous boat, it was also heavy. My boat was only made out of paper. My boat capsized like the Titanic. Isaac's boat was made out of wood, plastic bottle and last of all in the plastic bottle there was cement. After morning tea, we went to other classes and looked at other peoples boats. I saw a boat with all the All Blacks people. Aaron, Isaac's little brother had the same size. We did this challenge because we are learning about floating and sinking.

Yesterday the 26/11 we had boat day. We had boat day because our new topic is floating and sinking. My boat floated. My boat looked pretty. We liked boat day. Some boats sank and some capsized.

huff and puff
On the 12/11 it was huff and puff. Huff and puff is something that you have to run and have fun. I like huff and puff because you huff and puff. The juniors get to do 1 lap because they are little and we have to run 2 laps because we are bigger. we have a drink bottle so we not get thirsty and we also have a hat on.

On Thursday the 10th of November, we had a race called Huff and Puff. First Room 15 boys had to go first. I came in 5th place. We had so much fun. Even my parents came! I was feeling happy.

Yesterday on Thursday the Junior had Huff and Puff. When Mrs Naran said first Rm15 had to race so I was a bit nervous. I had to run around the field twice. After I raced I was exhausted. Max came 1st, I came 2nd, Tasman came 3rd and Viliami was 4th. After I finished I had a big drink. I was tired so I watched the other children in the shade. I was tired standing there so I sat on the grass because my feet was boiling. My Dad cheered for me to come 1st. I speed up when my Dad cheered for me. After I raced I saw Miles crying because he could not breath. After all the classes raced we all went back to our classes. My class had to pack our bag. Miss Robinson gave us a certificate about the huff and puff.

On Thursday the 12th of November 2015 it was Huff and Puff. I came fifth place even when we had to do two laps around the field. Max came 1st Harira came second Tasman came third and Viliami came fourth. He just passed me when I was going to pass the finish line. Tasman passed me when I was at the end of the field. Levi came 8th place. All of us came in the top ten. I came fifth place because in the morning I got a prickle in my foot so that slowed me down and I couldn't run in turbo boost speed. So that's how those four people passed me.

Art Exhibition
At the Art Exhibition I had 1 piece of art and it was my robot. I also saw my brother's work in the art exhibition, his work was really cool. It looked like a space city and a giant robot that was smiling at everyone whenever you walk past that piece of work. I also saw his friends pieces of work. Their work was also good.

Sally from Water Care
On Friday 24th Sally from Water Care came to Sunnybrae Normal School to teach us about water. We did five experiments. They were engine oil, cooking oil, red paint, food and dishwashing liquid. We also learnt about Superbugs. They are at the wash place and what they do is eat germs and sleep thats all they do all the time. If the five things which hare engine oil, cooking oil, red paint, food, dishwashing liquid go into the drain we might be swimming in these things!

It will go to the sea and the fish will die. When you go to the beach you might swim in these things. If you put washing liquid in the sea, the sea will turn green. Last Tuesday my Mum's baby came out at 5.00! My Dad had to call my cousin to look after me and my sister. We followed the nurse to the lounge room. There was tv and food in the lounge room. The nurse came in again and she said guess what. The baby came out! So the nurse took us to the room four then I get to carry the baby. His name is Max. It made me feel happy.

In the holiday my friend came over for a sleepover. My friend's name is Hwani. My brother was with me too. When Hwani came we first did puzzle's. We did 4 puzzle's. 1 was a Wally one, Ben Ten, Pororo and a Lightning Mc Queen. I felt really thrilled Hwani said"I'm so thrilled!!!". After that we brushed our teeth and then we slept. The next day we did cool math games on the computer. When it was 10 o’clock Hwani me and Nuri went to Glenfield pool's. Then we went to Domino Pizza Hut . We took 2 Hawaiian pizzas, it took 10 minutes to make it. After that we fish and chip's and then went home and ate it. After that when it was 6 o'clock Hwani went home. Then we went to swimming again. It was a lesson.

MOTAT
At the beginning of the day, we had a Toy Session. We learnt about all sorts of different toys. They are: teddies and dolls, toys that move, olden day toys, special toys and New Zealand Toys. Here are photos of some of us playing with these toys.
